The product

Where pattern meets performance

Every opening, every rib, every connector in our lattice geometry has a structural purpose — drainage, load distribution, grip. This is not decoration.

Lattice geometry

Proprietary pattern distributes load, channels water instantly, and provides multi-directional grip.

10-year warranty

Won’t splinter, crack, or rot. Covers structure, color fade, and mold resistance. Governed by Michigan law.

Marine-born design

Built by dock and boat lift manufacturers. Designed for what we actually needed, then opened to the world.

Freshwater proven

Freeze-thaw cycles, UV, algae, heavy equipment. Michigan lakes tested, Michigan winters survived.

Surface design

The pattern
is the product

The interlocking lattice isn’t cosmetic — it is the structural logic of every panel. Open enough to drain, rigid enough to carry load, refined enough to belong on an architectural deck.

“Patterned” — not grated. Not industrial mesh. SouthRock panels are engineered flooring with a designed surface.

Applications

Built for one industry.
Ready for all of them.

Engineered in the marine world. The patterned panel thrives anywhere that demands durable, weather-resistant, architecturally considered flooring.

Marine & Waterfront

Dock decking, gangways, boat lift platforms. Constant moisture, UV, freeze-thaw, heavy equipment — no problem.

Livestock & Agriculture

Barn floors, feedlot platforms, wash areas. Drains instantly, easy to sanitize, won’t rot under organic load.

Deck Building

Residential and commercial decks that never splinter, never need staining, and outlast the structure beneath.

Staging & Events

Stage decking with superior slip resistance. Panels install quickly.

Outdoor Commercial

Patios, walkways, pool surrounds, ADA ramp surfaces. Code-compliant slip ratings with architectural appeal.

Your industry

If you need durable, patterned outdoor flooring that drains, grips, and lasts — we want to hear from you.

“We build docks for a living. We couldn’t find decking we were proud to install — so we made our own.“

Our origin

South Rock was built out of necessity—by marine manufacturers who knew exactly what dock decking should be, but couldn’t find a product that met their standards. So, we engineered it ourselves.

Based in Perry, Michigan, our team has spent nearly 40 years designing and manufacturing high-quality docks. That hands-on experience shows up in every detail, from performance to durability.

The result is a patterned plastic decking panel that delivers exactly what professionals demand—exceptional performance, long-lasting reliability, and a look unlike anything else on the market.
